pCamp-Km10
Catalog: AUV28.
The plasmid is fully compatible with those carrying the p15A replicon.
This shuttle allows cycling of nucleotide sequences between Escherichia and Campylobacter species.
It is a medium copy number, E.coli plasmid, 5877 b.p. in length.
The plasmid contains:
1) the p15A replicon (ORI) responsible for plasmid replication in Escherichia coli(source - plasmid pACYC184);
2) repB sequence encoding component of Campylobacter episome replication machinery;
3) the hybrid operon that functions in both Escherichia and Campylobacter species and encode aminophosphotransferase conferring resistance to kanamycin (Km(R));
4) Escherichia coli lactose (Plac) and Campylobacter (Psap) promoters;
5) marked are unique recognition sites for restriction endonucleases.
The plasmid is fully compatible with Escherichia coli plasmids carrying the pMB1 and ColE1 replicons.
